It’s the New Year. Time to make a resolution to do something challenging for a worthy charity this Spring.
Taking place at a pool near you between 16-18 April, the Swimathon 2010 is the world’s biggest swim event. Last year it raised nearly £1.5m for Marie Curie Cancer Care and The Swimathon Foundation.
Your efforts will help Marie Curie Nurses provide more care and support to people with cancer and other terminal illnesses completely free in their own homes.
Enter this month and get half price entry (offer applies to online and telephone Distance Challenge entries before 31 January 2010). Take part for fun or challenge yourself to swim further, faster or longer than ever before.
And don’t think you need to be Michael Phelps to take part. The event is open to people of all abilities from those who want to swim a few lengths on their own or as part of a team to those who want the challenge of swimming 5Km.
